Reruns of Moonlight will begin on the Sci-Fi channel on Friday, January 23 at 8:00 Central, 9:00 Eastern!

I apologize if this post is inappropriate in any way, feel free to delete if it is!

I have had a death in the family and can’t attend the Fangoria Convention in Los Angeles on Sunday April 27th.

I have 2 Preferred Tickets with assigned seating for this Sunday, the seats are yours to come and go all day and you have definite assigned seats for the Moonlight Panel.  I was only going to see the Moonlight Panel, which is happening at 6:30pm at the convention.  The funeral is a 5pm and there is no way I can attend both so I just don’t want the tickets to be wasted.

I am hoping someone would like to buy my tickets.  I have already tried to get a refund through Fangoria but they have a strict no refunds policy and they refused my request.

So I'm trying to see if another fan wants to buy the tickets from me. If you are interested, you can email me directly at jujuluck@gmail.com

I can meet you in the morning at 11am when the convention opens to give you the tickets that are waiting for me at will call.  I swear I’m not a scalper or any such.  I have been a member of this community for a long time.  Feel free to check out my journal and all the post dates.  Thanks so much for reading!

Moonlight is currently filming new episodes to round out its first season a little more and we should see the first one on April 25, 2008 (pushed back from the original given date of April 11), same day and time slot. It's also possible there may be rerun episodes in April, particularly on April 18.

There's still no word on a definite renewal for the show for the fall season so it's very important that everyone tune in to the show when it airs, whether it's a rerun or new episode.

From http://www.buddytv.com/articles/moonlight/moonlight-poststrike-return-pu-17151.aspx:

"While Moonlight has earned satisfactory ratings for the network and consistent viewership numbers, CBS has not yet awarded the series with a renewal. Last December, CBS president Les Moonves said that the show is likely to return for a second season, while TV Guide's Matt Roush recently gave fans a ray of hope by noting that the network would not have gone through the trouble of putting the show back into production if the series will be canceled anyway. Roush also pointed out that a renewal could be given if the upcoming installments perform as well as – or even better than – the earlier episodes."

The next episode of Moonlight will air on January 11th and is called "Love Lasts Forever." Has anyone heard what it's about? From the title it sounds like it could be about either Mick or Josef.

I just opened a MickBeth fanfiction archive. Right now there isn't any fanfiction yet, but hopefully some of you writers will submit something soon. Anyway, check out the site at http://mickbeth.fan-sites.org

I fell asleep during a commercial and missed the last half of Moonlight. I'm desperate to know what happened. Can someone give me a recap of it?

Have you seen the nice article in the TV Guide about Alex?!!! Check it out, it's pretty good and has some nice pictures...

vaders_child asked about Josef's past in her recent post and I knew something had been said on at least one of the episodes about it but I couldn't remember what. Here's what Wikipedia: Supernatural said about Josef...

"Jason Dohring as Josef Konstantin, a centuries old vampire (he was four years old in 1603 as mentioned in the episode The Ringer, therefore making him 408 years old), and St. John's mentor. Not much is known about his past and he doesn't reveal anything of it unless prompted. He claims to have gone insane when first turned into a vampire in Dr. Feelgood, was chased by a mob in There's No Such Thing as Vampires, and has known Coraline for roughly a hundred years before she met Mick. He doesn't understand why Mick is helping humans and has told him so on many occasions."

So not a lot has been said about his past yet but that just makes for a lot of possibilities for future episodes.

Here's what Wikipedia: Supernatural said about Mick, Beth (skimpy info here), and Coraline...

"Alex O'Loughlin as Mick St. John. A private investigator who was turned into a vampire over fifty years ago. His wife, Coraline, turned him on their wedding night. He remained solo for the next thirty years of his life. Then he was approached by a mother desperate to find her kidnapped daughter Beth. Mick rescued the child from the kidnapper, his ex-wife Coraline, who he then killed. He has continued to keep track of Beth over the years."

"Sophia Myles as Beth Turner, an internet reporter, and St. John's love interest. She finds out that Mick's a vampire and is a great partner to him, saving his life multiple times."

"Shannyn Sossamon as Coraline, St. John's ex-wife and sire. A courtesan in early 18th century France, she is approximately 300 years old. She turned Mick into a vampire on their honeymoon. She was presumed dead after Mick rescued Beth and set the building on fire, trapping Coraline within. In the episode entitled "The Ringer", Sossamon also appeared as a human photographer, Morgan. Both Mick and Josef saw Coraline's mannerisms and style in Morgan, yet she is human, not a vampire. Mick tried to force her to reveal herself, looking for the fleur de lis tattoo that his former wife had on her right shoulder, but Morgan's shoulder was bare. The last scene of the episode shows Morgan wiping makeup from her shoulder, revealing the tattoo, Morgan herself shortly later confirmed she is Coraline. In the episode fleur de lis, the tattoo is shown as being a brand."

wowiie..
But i have a question ,and i am thinking its un answerable ,unless you ask Alex directly .
But does anyone know what brand ring he wears, on his right pointer finger ?
And does anyone have a good close up photo of it ?
I love how it looks on his hand ,and I want to see the design better .
And it looks like its a designer name as well. To me anyway .

Ok, I said I was going to stick to just a couple of shows this year to make my life simpler and Moonlight was not on the list but somehow I've gotten attached to it. The time slot drives me crazy though...

Mick is beautiful and sweet and heroic. Josef...is not...but he pushes all my buttons anyway. Well, Josef is cute, I didn't mean to imply he wasn't, his mouth makes me feel dizzy, but he's more of a "bad boy" than Mick. Beth I like because she's no wilting damsel in distress but she also doesn't grate on my nerves either (like Lois from Smallville sometimes does) and she wants Mick...very badly and apparently isn't afraid to show that. Poor boyfriend...what's his name, Josh?...he may last for a while but he's no permanent thing.

I've missed a couple of the shows and was wondering what has been said about Josef's past? And how did he meet Mick?

I recently started a community for crossovers with Moonlight. However, non-crossover fanfic, fanart, and icons are also welcome. Everyone is invited to join and post. I would also like to ask the mod if they are interested in affiliating. I am trying to put together a list of Moonlight and Mick St. John related communities. The community can be found at

Who watched Moonlight last night?!! If you missed it you really missed a treat. I love watching Mick, he's a bundle of nervous energy and he's so funny racing around with his shades and trying to avoid the sun glare. Beth is falling for him hard, whether she'll admit that or not. And the end! I won't say what it was and spoil it for anybody but it was really...uh...interesting. The young killer vampire was suitably icky, they really made him unappealing. The next show is definitely a can't miss one too...Beth will be showing us a new side of herself.

If anyone wants to discuss the episode more or needs a more detailed explanation of what happened, just post to this to start...

Well, Moonlight finally premiered Friday and I had to resort to taping it due to an unexpected trip out of town. I watched it tonight and must say it really captured my interest as I had thought it would. It's a little dark, yes, and "Mick" isn't your usual hero but that's part of what will make the series unique. The beginning was a little choppy and I actually had to rewind (yes, I still have to use a VCR *hangs head in shame and despair*) and rewatch the first bit of it.

Has anyone heard anything about the ratings? Ghost Whisperer is supposed to be a good lead-in for it. I guess they figure if you like ghosts you'll give vampires a chance.

And this community is open for discussion. Please feel free to give your take on the show, good and bad. Put spoilery things behind a cut.

Hello! If you are here then you have found a new community for the CBS television series Moonlight starring Alex O'Loughlin as "Mick St. John". The show premieres Friday September 28th at 8:00 Central and 9:00 Eastern.

This community welcomes questions, discussion, fanfiction, icons, pictures, and artwork as long as it somehow relates to the show or the actors who portray the characters. You may also post information about some of the topics of the show such as "vampires" or "immortality". Long posts should be placed behind an LJ-cut and clearly labeled with ratings and warnings as needed.
